Applications will be accepted until 09/14/2026.The Account Partner Director, Retail Professional Services is a senior client-facing leader responsible for driving the successful delivery and expansion of Salesforce Professional Services engagements within a portfolio of retail industry accounts. This role combines deep industry expertise, executive relationship management, and services sales acumen to ensure customers achieve maximum value from their Salesforce investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for Professional Services engagements across a defined portfolio of retail accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders
- Drive the identification, qualification, and closure of Professional Services opportunities including implementation, advisory, and managed services
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Delivery teams to develop comprehensive services strategies aligned to customer business outcomes
- Lead the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), project proposals, and services roadmaps tailored to retail industry needs
- Partner with delivery leadership to ensure successful project execution, customer satisfaction, and on-time/on-budget delivery
- Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving growth in services revenue and deepening the Salesforce footprint
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, advocating for resources, prioritization, and solutions that drive customer success
- Maintain a strong understanding of retail industry trends, challenges, and Salesforce product capabilities to provide relevant, strategic guidance
- Accurately forecast services pipeline and revenue within assigned territory
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in professional services, consulting, or services sales, with significant experience in the retail industry
- Proven track record of managing and growing enterprise client relationships and exceeding revenue targets
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and how they apply to retail business processes (Commerce, Marketing, Service, Data/AI)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present complex services proposals to executive audiences
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience working in a matrixed environment, collaborating across sales, delivery, and product teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or industry-specific)
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field

The typical base salary range for this position is $182,715 - $244,465 annually. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
