What this service is

Jobee reads job listings from employers’ own careers pages and from job boards, and puts them in one searchable list. Every posting links back to where it was published, and that is where you apply — we do not sit between you and the employer, and we never submit an application on your behalf. Pressing “Apply” here records that you were interested and opens their page; it files nothing.

It is free to use. There is no paid plan today. If one is introduced, nothing you can already do will be taken away and put behind it without telling you first.

The listings are not ours

Each posting is the employer’s own text, shown as they wrote it. We do not verify that a role is open, that the pay is as stated, or that the employer is who they say they are. A listing can be filled, withdrawn or changed at any moment without us knowing, and we mark a posting as no longer listed rather than deleting it so a link you saved still resolves to something.

Where a posting states nothing — pay, seniority, whether it is remote — we leave it blank rather than estimating. A blank means the employer did not say, not that we could not be bothered to find out. Filters therefore never hide a job for lacking a value it never had.

We do not screen listings for fraud and cannot. Some quality and risk signals are shown where we have them, and they describe what a posting says rather than passing judgement on whoever posted it. Treat an unsolicited request for money, bank details or identity documents as the warning it is, wherever you found the advert.

Your account

An account is one person’s. Keep the password to yourself; anything done with your session is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has it, and change it — a password change ends every other session immediately, including on devices you no longer have.

You can delete your account at any time from the account page. What that removes and what it does not is set out in the privacy notice.

What we ask of you

• Use it to look for work, for yourself. Do not resell, redistribute or republish the index.
• Do not scrape it, and do not automate bulk access. The listings came from other people’s sites under their terms, and several of those terms allow us to show a posting but not to hand the whole collection to somebody else.
• Do not try to reach another person’s account, documents or applications, or to get around a rate limit.
• Upload only documents you are entitled to upload. Somebody else’s resume is somebody else’s.

We may end access that breaks any of this. Where the reason allows it we will say what it was.

Documents this service helps you write

Your documents are yours. Uploading one gives us permission to store it, to show it back to you, and — only when you ask for something to be generated — to send its text to the provider that does the generating. Nothing is used to train anybody’s model by us.

A tailored resume rearranges what you already wrote. It selects and reorders your own roles, bullets, skills and education, and it says which of your entries each part came from. It cannot introduce an employer, a date, a degree or a skill you did not list, because the result is expressed as references into your document rather than as new text. If it drops a role to fit a page limit, it says which.

A cover letter is genuinely written, and that is a weaker guarantee. Four things are checked automatically: that it is the length you asked for, that it states no number your resume and the posting do not contain, that it names the employer, and that no unfilled placeholder is left in it. Everything beyond that — tone, emphasis, whether a sentence is one you would be happy to have written — is for you to read before you send it. It is a draft, and you are the author of what you send.

Keyword suggestions name gaps. They are not instructions to claim experience you do not have, and there is deliberately no control anywhere in the product that writes a missing skill into your resume for you.

What we do not promise

• That you will find a job, get an interview, or hear back from anyone.
• That the index is complete or current. It is a large part of what is out there, not all of it, and it is as fresh as our last read of each source.
• That the service is always available. It is a small operation, it goes down sometimes, and there is no service level attached to it.
• That a generated document is accurate, appropriate or successful. Read it before you send it.

To the extent the law allows, Jobee is not liable for a job you did not get, an application that went astray, a listing that turned out to be filled, or anything else arising from using a free service to look for work. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited.

Changes

These terms can change; the date at the top changes with them. A change that affects what you can do, or that introduces a charge, will be told to you rather than left here to be found.
