GSS Creative Studio combines creative and brand expertise with operational excellence to deliver scalable, high-quality creative solutions across Prime Video business lines, channels and marketplaces.

Creative Studio is seeking a Visual Designer specializing in Key Art Development. This hands-on role is responsible for executing high-quality Key Art and supporting campaign creative under the direction of Art Directors and the Creative Director.

The Visual Designer translates the direction and vision established in the creative brief into polished visual executions. They develop Key Art comps and design explorations within the approved creative direction, using strong composition, typography, image manipulation and retouching skills to bring each concept to life.

The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with advanced technical craft and attention to detail. They can manage multiple assignments, incorporate feedback accurately and collaborate effectively with creative and cross-functional partners while maintaining a high creative and technical quality bar.

Key job responsibilities
Execute Key Art comps and visual explorations based on the creative brief and direction provided by Art Directors or the Creative Director.
Translate the approved creative vision into clear, compelling and polished visual executions.
Develop design options within the established creative direction, exploring composition, imagery, typography, color and visual hierarchy.
Apply advanced image manipulation, compositing and retouching techniques to create realistic and visually cohesive artwork.
Create presentation-ready comps and supporting materials for internal and stakeholder creative reviews.
Work with photography, talent imagery and licensed assets while following brand, usage and technical requirements.
Participate in briefings, brainstorms and creative reviews, contributing design options and executional solutions within the established direction.
Present assigned work during creative reviews and explain relevant design decisions.
Incorporate feedback accurately and efficiently while maintaining the intended concept, title narrative and brand expression.
Identify incomplete, conflicting or unclear direction and escalate it to the responsible Art Director or Creative Director.
Adapt approved Key Art direction across relevant campaign formats and placements when required.
Manage multiple assignments and creative iterations within agreed timelines, communicating risks that could affect quality or delivery.
Use approved creative and AI-assisted tools responsibly to support design exploration and execution.

Basic qualifications

- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines
- An online portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, Key Art, advertising or campaign work and the process behind it.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Strong skills in image composition, photo manipulation, retouching, typography, color and visual hierarchy.
- Experience translating creative briefs and established direction into polished visual executions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to creative and technical quality.
- Effective communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience developing Key Art or entertainment advertising for film, television, streaming or sports.
- Experience working with photography, unit stills, talent imagery and licensed visual assets.
- Experience preparing creative comps for internal, stakeholder or talent review.
- Understanding of entertainment brand guidelines, usage rights and asset limitations.
- Familiarity with collaborative design tools such as Figma.
- Familiarity with approved AI-assisted tools used for visual exploration, image development or retouching.
