About the role

This is an opportunity to combine your technical depth with your leadership skills to drive meaningful results. You will partner across organizations to align priorities, influence architectural decisions, and deliver software that makes a real difference. If you are energized by coaching engineers, tackling ambiguous problems, and building systems that scale, we want to hear from you.

- Define and own the team's charter, vision, and 1–2 year product roadmap by working backwards from customer needs, balancing tactical execution with long-term strategic goals, and contributing to organizational planning.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve dependencies, and drive architectural and feature decisions that support broader business objectives while managing tradeoffs in scalability, performance, and security.
- Build a culture of operational rigor by establishing metrics, audit mechanisms, and engineering best practices that ensure system health, reliability, and continuous improvement of the customer experience.
- Coach and develop engineers at multiple levels through collaborative development planning, actionable feedback, and strategic project assignments, while actively building a pipeline of future leaders and inclusive talent.
A day in the life
You start your morning reviewing operational dashboards and triaging any issues that need attention. From there, you might join a design review where your engineers present a new architecture proposal, and you ask the questions that sharpen the approach. Mid-morning could bring a planning session with partner teams to align on shared deliverables. After lunch, you shift to one-on-one conversations with your direct reports, discussing career goals and removing blockers. Later, you draft or review a product narrative that frames the next quarter's priorities for leadership.
