About the role

We are seeking two dependable, experienced US Registered Nurses (USRNs) to join our clinical team as Biopsy Care Coordinators (2 Slots Available). In this vital patient-care role, you will lead biopsy follow-up communications—reviewing lab results, delivering clear clinical information to patients, and providing compassionate guidance.

The ideal candidates possess outstanding English communication skills with minimal-to-no accent, strong clinical judgment, and prior experience in dermatology or outpatient procedures.

Working Environment & Core Schedule

  • Openings: 2 Slots Available
  • Status: Full-Time (40 Hours / Week)
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (US Eastern Standard Time)

Top 3 Daily Tasks

  1. Lab & Pathology Review: Review incoming biopsy reports and diagnostic lab results for accuracy and clinical urgency.
  2. Patient Results Outreach: Conduct outbound patient calls to clearly communicate test results and answer clinical questions.
  3. Care Coordination: Document call outcomes in the EMR, schedule necessary follow-up care, and escalate complex findings to the provider.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform daily audits of incoming pathology and biopsy lab reports.
  • Contact patients via phone to deliver lab results, explain clinical next steps, and provide reassurance.
  • Document all clinical interactions, test results, and care plans accurately within the EMR system.
  • Coordinate with clinical providers regarding abnormal or urgent biopsy findings.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Active USRN License (Unencumbered).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal English skills with clear, neutral pronunciation (no accent) for seamless patient phone interactions.
  • Clinical Background: Previous experience in Dermatology, outpatient surgery, or clinical triage preferred.
  • EMR Experience: Hands-on experience with ModMed (EMA) or a similar specialty EMR is a strong plus.
  • Remote Setup: HIPAA-compliant private workspace, quiet environment, reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a clear headset.
  • Camera-On Shift Requirement: Agreement and ability to maintain an active, camera-on presence throughout the entire 8-hour shift.
