About the role
The Compliance Program Manager is responsible for driving the execution and governance of regulatory compliance programs across the EU region. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, this role serves as the critical bridge between compliance policy-setting and program execution, ensuring regulatory obligations are met on time, within scope, and with full traceability. The ideal candidate thrives in a matrixed environment, can translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable workstreams, and brings the operational rigour needed to hold cross-functional partners accountable.
Key job responsibilities
Product Compliance Ownership
- Serve as the single-threaded compliance owner for an assigned APE product, accountable for its end-to-end regulatory compliance posture across all applicable EU frameworks (AML/CFT, PSD2, consumer protection, complaints management)
- Own the product's compliance obligation register — map regulatory requirements to controls, identify gaps, and drive remediation to closure
- Maintain the product's internal control environment inventory, ensuring all controls are documented, tested, and aligned to the current regulatory baseline
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure compliance requirements are embedded into product design, change management, and release processes
- Serve as the compliance subject-matter expert for the product in all regulatory interactions, including CSSF examinations, thematic reviews, and ad-hoc information requests
- Assess the impact of regulatory developments (CSSF circulars, EBA guidelines, EU directives) on the product and translate them into actionable change requirements with clear timelines
- Own the regulatory change pipeline for the product — track incoming obligations, set implementation timelines based on regulator approval cycles, and manage stakeholder expectations on delivery
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience identifying and resolving complex issues
- Experience working cross functionally with tech teams
- Experience in leading large, cross functional projects
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience identifying and resolving complex issues
- Experience working cross functionally with tech teams
- Experience in leading large, cross functional projects
Preferred qualifications
- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
