About the role

The Alternate Fulfillment Transportation (AFT) Team is seeking a Transportation Analyst join our growing program to drive the optimization and execution of the transportation needs of the AF Network. The AF Network operates multiple warehouse throughout North America and is continually expanding its locations year over year. Within the AFT space, we own the transportation strategy, execution, and optimization to ensure that packages are delivered to our customers on time and cost effectively. The AFT Team needs exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people to design, develop, and improve our transportation processes and execution.


Key job responsibilities
- Execute daily operations in the form of caps monitoring, carrier & vendor outreach, and problem solving for a rapidly growing network.
- Support continuous improvement of daily operations. Your feedback will be critical for as we grow this team and expand AF operations into many more US cities.
- Escalate problems to the relevant stakeholders and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
- Continual, tactical communication with external customers (Vendors, Carriers) and internal customers (Retail, Finance, Delivery Stations, Sort Centers)
- Identify and eliminate root causes of route inefficiencies, capacity constraints, and route cancellations.
- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements are met.

Basic qualifications

- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements

Preferred qualifications

- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with SQL

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
