Role Overview
As an Academy Content Consultant, you will join our internal product education team to design and develop high-quality learning content. In this role, you will lead course development projects end-to-end, translating complex product functionality into engaging educational experiences that empower Bloomreach users. Operating with a degree of autonomy, you will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced SaaS environment. This position offers excellent opportunities for continuous growth, tool specialization, and direct impact on customer success. As an Academy Content Consultant, your job will be to:
- Own Course Development Projects End-to-End: Take full responsibility for the post-design planning, execution, iteration, and timely delivery of assigned course projects.
- Design Instructionally Sound Experiences: Craft logical learning journeys and clear storyboards. You are expected to document and articulate the instructional design rationale (e.g., cognitive load management, scaffolding) behind your major design decisions.
- Develop High-Quality Learning Assets: Independently build complex, multi-component digital assets—including interactive e-learning modules, scenario-based assessments, video software walkthroughs, and supporting job aids, delegating tasks to junior team members where appropriate.

- Optimize Production via GenAI: Integrate and test approved GenAI rapid-prototyping tools to streamline script drafting and asset creation, while maintaining rigorous quality assurance (QA) and brand consistency.
- Troubleshoot Authoring Tools & LMS: Serve as a participating technical problem-solver within the team's core authoring toolkit (e.g., Rise 360, Google Slides, Elai) and the Learning Management System (LMS).
You have the following experience and qualities:
- Instructional Design Experience: Ideally 2–3 years of professional experience designing and developing digital learning experiences, preferably within a SaaS, B2B, or high-growth technology environment.
- Grounded Methodology: A strong understanding of modern instructional design theories and frameworks, with the ability to confidently justify your design choices to stakeholders.
- Technical Authoring Proficiency: High comfort and hands-on experience with core authoring systems, video-editing/AI-generation tools, and modern LMS administration. Bonus point if you have experience with Articulate Rise/Rise 360.
- SME Consulting Capability: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to guide conversations with technical experts and secure commitments.
- Exceptional English Skills: Exceptional command of written and spoken English (C1/C2 level preferred), with a sharp eye for clear, conversational copy and adapting content for global learners.
- Product Curiosity: An active interest in learning a complex software product suite (including customer data platforms, search algorithms, and e-commerce personalization engines) and translating its capabilities into user value.
- Proactive Project Management: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a track record of communicating delivery estimations proactively before timelines are impacted.
