Frequently Asked Questions

What is a day in the life of a Product Manager, Campaigns?

  • Own product decisions for ROI Hunter's Meta Ads scope: campaign structure, DPAs, Advantage+, audience signals, and performance optimization at scale.

  • Work day-to-day in a tight product trio made up of you, a designer, and a dev lead, with no handoff model, carrying ideas from problem to shipped feature.

  • Maintain and extend the proxy API layer connecting ROI Hunter to Meta's Ads platform, and respond quickly when Meta ships API deprecations or new requirements.

  • Turn real advertiser and agency pain points into a product roadmap, prioritizing what actually moves performance for e-commerce and retail brands.

  • Explore how agentic AI and automation are reshaping campaign management, and help shape where ROI Hunter's product goes next.

  • Present and defend product decisions to the wider company, including Pattern's teams in the US.

  •

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  • Hands-on, operational depth in Meta Ads at agency or large in-house scale, covering DPAs, Advantage+, audience strategy, and performance optimization, not just having launched a few campaigns.

  • A track record of actually building or experimenting with AI or automation tools, such as dashboards, scripts, or prototypes with a real outcome, not just stated interest.

  • The instinct of someone who has spent time in an agency or in-house team, felt the operational frustration of paid social, and wants to fix it at the product level.

  • Comfort operating with real ambiguity, since nobody on this team will hand you a fully defined roadmap.

  • English fluent enough to write clearly and present decisions to the whole company (C1+).

  • Curiosity that shows up as sharp questions, plus the determination to keep pushing on a problem when the first answer doesn't work.

  •

What does high performance look like?

  • You've turned a specific Meta Ads pain point into a shipped product decision, and can point to the outcome.

  • You ask sharp, sometimes uncomfortable questions, and visibly use feedback to change what you build.

  • You take ownership of your product surface end to end, from writing the spec to seeing it through a Meta API change.

  • Your product trio trusts your judgment on prioritization because you've shown your reasoning, not just your opinion.

  •

What is my potential for career growth?

  • Growth on this team is horizontal rather than a fixed PM ladder: you grow by taking on more of the Campaigns product surface (for example Google Ads, or newer integrations like TikTok and OpenAI's ChatGPT) and by deepening your ownership over time. You'll be mentored directly by Adam Rippl, Head of Product Management, who made this same agency-to-product jump himself and is building this role to help someone else do it.

  •

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?

  • 30 days: You're fluent in ROI Hunter's Meta integration and proxy API, sitting in on real campaign and product conversations, and pairing closely with your product trio.

  • 60 days: You're driving specific product decisions on the Meta Ads scope with Adam's support, and starting to form a point of view on where the product should go next.

  • 90 days: You own a defined slice of the Campaigns roadmap, can explain and defend your decisions in front of the wider company, and are contributing to how ROI Hunter responds to the next Meta API change.

  •

    What is the team like?

You will work with your product trio, made up of a product designer and a dev lead, and be supervised by Adam Rippl, Head of Product Management. You will also collaborate with Dave, our CTO, particularly on the technical direction of the Meta API integration, and meet with Adam regularly to discuss your performance. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
