You'll work at the intersection of software development and financial systems, creating tools and mechanisms that address real customer challenges. Key job responsibilities
Design and implement automation solutions for device migrations and financial system transitions, ensuring reliability and minimizing manual intervention
Build and maintain reporting infrastructure that enables accurate and timely financial book closures, collaborating with finance teams to understand requirements
Develop features and enhancements that improve customer adoption and ease of use, focusing on intuitive interfaces and streamlined workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues by analyzing system logs and customer feedback, implementing sustainable solutions that prevent recurrence
Write clean, maintainable code using optimal data structures and algorithms, participating in code reviews and contributing to team technical standards

A day in the life
Your day begins by addressing critical tickets from finance teams, investigating root causes and implementing fixes. You'll spend time enabling new reporting capabilities for upcoming book closures, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy. You will automate migration steps that previously required manual effort, writing scripts and testing thoroughly. In the afternoon, you could be enhancing features based on customer feedback, making iterative improvements that simplify adoption. Throughout the day, you'll participate in code reviews, share knowledge with teammates, and contribute to the team's operational excellence.

Basic qualifications

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Preferred qualifications

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
