Who is a Senior Project Manager at XTB?

  • You are a key part of the PMO (Portfolio Management Office) within the Product & Technology (IT) department.

  • You drive end-to-end projects that cross multiple IT teams, non-IT departments, and external vendors.

  • You manage diverse initiatives (ranging from 1-2 months to 1-2 years), proactively adapting plans to ensure successful delivery.

  • You manage stakeholders at all levels (including SME, Corporate management, Consulting services, Trading, IT, and Accounting) and collaborate daily with Product Managers, Program Managers, and Team Leads.

  • You create, visualize, and update project roadmaps, taking full ownership of goal decomposition and documentation.

  • You organize the workflow effectively: you set up communication channels, approval processes, checkpoints, and documentation standards.

  • You proactively identify key risks, manage them methodically, and swiftly remove obstacles blocking the teams from delivering.

  • You lead workshops and working sessions, and you report project statuses to key stakeholders.

  • You create and implement processes based on data from Jira, BI, and DB to support the PMO and the broader Tech & Product department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3 years as a Project Manager (or in a similar role).

  • A strong technical background and solid domain knowledge of financial products / fintech.

  • A project management certification (e.g., Prince2 or PMP).

  • Advanced proficiency in AI tools (Claude Code), JIRA, Excel, and Google Spreadsheets.

  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various IT specializations (FE, BE, QA, BA, Arch, UX, UI, PO, SM, DevOps).

  • Experience in agile product development (Scrum, Kanban) and cross-team collaboration.

  • Highly developed soft skills: assertiveness, effective communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation.

  • Process-oriented mindset, a high level of independence, and the ability to quickly grasp complex domain knowledge.

  • English proficiency of at least C1 level.
