About the role
Amazon Business Biz Operations (AbbizOps) is part of WW PSME/ Self-Service Registration (SSR). Our operations span across India (HYD/BLR), Costa Rica (SJO), and Japan (CTS). We collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, constantly exploring new avenues to expand our scope and delivering innovative solutions that provide greater value to the business and customers. Team supports WW AB Marketplaces 24/7 on operational tasks encompassing manual verification, risk & abuse management and assists WW AB teams on tasks that require human intervention. Primarily, team verifies legitimacy of potential customers to onboard business/corporate customers at Amazon platform providing additional benefits such as bulk ordering, expedited delivery etc. In order to protect platform from abusive actors, team combines technology, machine learning and human ingenuity to identify threat vectors that can be utilized to perpetrate abuse. Team seamlessly develop mechanisms to reduce the impact of abuse. Alongside, we assist WW AB team on manual tasks in order to reduce cost to serve while improving efficiency and maintaining the highest Quality standards.

We are inviting applications for the Investigation Specialist position, where you will interact with customers and internal AB operations to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent decision-making abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills to call the customers, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
Key job responsibilities
• Conduct investigations on business account registrations to verify legitimacy of potential customers.
• Make calls to customers to verify business information, resolve discrepancies, and gather additional documentation when required
• Handle customer queries related to verification status, account concerns, and documentation requirements
• Identify and mitigate risk and abuse patterns using technology, machine learning outputs, and human judgment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex cases requiring human intervention
• Document investigation findings and communicate decisions clearly to stakeholders
• Assist WW AB teams on manual operational tasks to reduce cost to serve
-Speak, write, and read fluently in English
-Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
-Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
-Experience in payments or e-commerce

Basic qualifications
-1+ years of customer service experience-Speak, write, and read fluently in English
-Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
-Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
-Experience in payments or e-commerce
