You have already helped build someone else’s company.
You made decisions, solved problems, led people and watched the business grow. And at the end of it, it was still their company.
This is the opportunity to build one as an owner.
Cozy Heaven
Cozy Heaven is a German premium bedding company with proven demand, strong products and the potential to become an enduring consumer brand.
We are looking for one person to lead it, at co-owner level, with full authority over the business and full accountability for the result.
We want someone who wants to be the end owner of the outcome, who wants the authority, accountability and upside that come with being the person ultimately responsible for a company, and who keeps hold of that responsibility when things get difficult.
A role with this much responsibility is not a place to learn how to run a business.
The mission
Build Cozy Heaven into a premium, sustainably profitable and independently operated consumer brand.
The quality of growth matters as much as its speed. Success means stronger margins, disciplined cash and inventory management, excellent customer experience, growing repeat business and a brand that increases in value over time.
You will not be doing it alone. Everest’s AI platform and technology give you tools to execute faster and decide better than a company this size normally can.
What you will own
The P&L. The Cozy Heaven operating plan, financial performance and weekly business results.
Profitable growth. Growing the business across the DACH market through positioning, pricing, retention, performance marketing, partnerships and new channels.
The brand. Protecting and strengthening Cozy Heaven’s premium positioning so the brand becomes more valuable over time.
Cash and inventory. Inventory planning, purchasing decisions, working capital and the trade-offs between growth, availability and cash.
Supply chain and operations. Suppliers, quality, purchasing, freight and fulfilment.
The customer experience. From acquisition to delivery, customer service, repeat purchase and advocacy.
The team. The internal team, agencies and external specialists. You decide where we need stronger people, set priorities and create a clear execution rhythm.
Technology and AI. The operating requirements of the business, and the adoption of technology, automation and AI workflows built with Everest.
The Cozy Heaven playbook. What we learn here should inform how Everest operates and improves future acquisitions.
How you will work
You do not need to be the best specialist in every function. You need to understand the work, make the trade-offs, choose and lead strong specialists and take responsibility for the total result.
This requires you to be a leading doer. Especially in the beginning, you should be comfortable going into the details yourself when something matters. Responsibility does not stop because something sits outside your job description.
The first 90 days
First 30 days
Establish one factual view of the business: the economics, customers, products, inventory, suppliers, marketing, team and the major operational bottlenecks. Confirm decision rights, assess the existing team and agencies, and identify the few priorities that matter most.
By day 60
A rolling cash and inventory plan is in use and you are seeing the results of the decisions you have made. The commercial calendar, pricing and testing rhythm are clear, and the most important customer, fulfilment and supply-chain projects have clear owners and measurable progress.
By day 90
Your operating rhythm works. The necessary team changes are underway, priorities are clear and Cozy Heaven is executing one coherent plan. From there the objective is to keep compounding: a better company, stronger economics and a more valuable brand.
The opportunity
We believe the person ultimately responsible for building a company should participate meaningfully in the value they create. So the package combines a competitive base salary with real ownership.
Base salary. Where you land in the range depends on your experience and on the personal capital you commit to become a co-owner.
Equity. 10% to 20% in Cozy Heaven, earned through tenure and clearly defined performance milestones and/or personal capital commitment, subject to the final legal and tax structure.
Broader path. Wider responsibility and upside within Everest Group after proven success at Cozy Heaven and meaningful contribution beyond the first company.
You are not starting from zero. There are customers, products, infrastructure and a business to build from. What Cozy Heaven becomes from here depends on you.
You have already run a business, or the part of one that mattered most.
Founder, Managing Director, General Manager, commercially strong COO or business-unit leader in DTC or e-commerce. The title matters less than the weight you carried.
You are commercially sharp, financially disciplined and comfortable in the detail. You bring structure without bureaucracy, you communicate directly and you finish what you start.
What you should be able to show us
A P&L you owned. Real responsibility for the result in an inventory-led business, where stock and cash decisions changed the outcome.
A brand you made stronger. You improved how a consumer brand was seen and what its customers experienced.
AI you put to work. You used AI and automation to improve real workflows and real decisions, not to run experiments.
Order you created out of mess. You built focus and an execution rhythm in an imperfect operating environment, with incomplete data and competing priorities.
A team you built or rebuilt. You made the hard calls on people and ended up with a small, high-output team.
Profitable growth. You grew the business and the margin together, and you can explain how.
Decisions across the whole picture. Cash, stock, purchasing, margin and performance marketing, with the trade-offs between them held in one head.
German and English. Professional fluency in both. The market is German and the group works in English.
If you have already carried this responsibility for someone else and you are ready to carry it as an owner, we would like to meet you.
