Job Responsibilities

This candidate will be responsible for the entire end-to-end mortgage loan process, gathering and processing all loan documentation and ensuring full compliance with policy, regulatory requirements, and loan terms.

• Review and prepare mortgage loan files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all application data.
• Clarify or obtain additional borrower information as needed.
• Verify application details by sending verification forms and contacting verification sources.
• Order and track required documentation, including credit reports, appraisals, title work, and related items.
• Identify deficiencies or issues in loan files and communicate them promptly to the underwriter and processing supervisor.
• Prepare closing statements and calculate principal, interest, and closing costs; communicate details to borrowers.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of borrower and loan information.
• Stay current on industry knowledge through training and professional development.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

• Minimum 3 years of recent mortgage industry experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA programs.
• Proficiency with Encompass LOS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Must reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zone.

Additional Job Description Summary:

The expected base salary range for this position is $28.00 to $33.66 hourly, plus eligibility for a discretionary monthly bonus.
