About the role
Amazon’s XCM (Cross Channel, Cross Category Marketing) organization is looking for a highly-motivated Media Manager to drive our premium video (Linear Television, Streaming, and Cinema) media approach and investment strategies. This role will be responsible for providing planning and operational support across end-to-end premium video process, including the development and execution of North America media plans across paid and owned and operated (O&O) video channels, as well as creating and owning processes, tools, and mechanisms to enable XCM and cross-line of business planning and implementation efficiencies.
Key job responsibilities
This role will report into the Premium Video Lead, and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Partner with Premium Video Lead to develop annual premium video investment strategies across the XCM portfolio, and translate across individual campaigns
• Own cross-line of business O&O video strategy, media plans, and execute across various O&O video properties
• Drive real-time video optimizations based on key KPIs, compile reporting from multiple sources, and share learnings with relevant business teams
• Leverage expertise to own projects outside of day-to-day campaign work that impact the media team and broader XCM org
• Navigate a highly-matrixed organization and represent team with integrity and self-sufficiency
• Partner with other Amazon media managers to leverage overall investment decisions and insights across the team in the most audience-driven expression possible

The central XCM org runs the largest and most performative mass marketing portfolio of investments in Amazon's biggest priority brands and businesses, from Prime Day to Super Bowl. We are a small but mighty team of 200+ strategic and creative business leaders who make and deliver our customers most loved marketing campaigns for North America and the world.
- In-depth knowledge of cross-channel media strategy and experience leading complex business at an agency or or in-house with a large advertiser
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience using industry media planning such as Nielsen, Kantar, Comscore, etc.
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in audience segmentation and targeting
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

Basic qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- In-depth knowledge of cross-channel media strategy and experience leading complex business at an agency or or in-house with a large advertiser
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience using industry media planning such as Nielsen, Kantar, Comscore, etc.
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
