Sr. Product Manager, Abuse Prevention
ASSPL - Karnataka · Bengaluru, India · Product Management
Full-timeSenior
About the role
Are you passionate about building products that solve real customer problems at massive scale? As a Sr. Product Manager - Identity at Amazon, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for products that directly shape our abuse prevention and CX strategy by building robust customer identity solutions. You will work backward from customer needs, define compelling product strategies, and partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to tackle ambiguous problems, make high-judgment decisions, and drive products from concept through launch and beyond — all while operating in an environment that rewards creative thinking and a bias toward experimentation.
Key job responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap by working backward from customer needs, using a combination of customer research, market analysis, and data-driven insights to prioritize investments and make smart trade-offs.
- Partner with engineering, design, science, and cross-functional teams to translate product strategy into well-scoped deliverables, define acceptance criteria, and drive execution from prototype through launch and post-launch optimization.
- Influence without authority across teams with different priorities, building alignment among stakeholders in engineering, marketing, sales, legal, finance, and operations to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
- Own product performance by defining success criteria and key metrics, analyzing usage data and customer behavior, and iterating rapidly to improve adoption, satisfaction, and business impact.
- Leverage generative AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate development cycles, generate deeper insights, and identify new opportunities for product innovation.
A day in the life
You start your morning reviewing product metrics and customer feedback, identifying signals that inform your next set of priorities. By mid-morning, you are in a design review with your engineering and design partners, debating trade-offs on a new feature. After lunch, you lead a cross-functional alignment meeting to resolve dependencies with a partner team. Later, you draft a product narrative for an upcoming initiative, grounding your recommendations in customer research and data. Throughout it all, you balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
