About the role

About the Role
Amazon Fashion India is looking for a Manager, Category Marketing Manager to own traffic and customer lifecycle for GL Apparel — one of the largest and fastest-growing categories on the platform. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role sitting at the intersection of strategy, data, and creative execution. You will lead a team to define how millions of customers discover, engage with, and buy fashion on Amazon.in.
If you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and love building things from the ground up — this role is for you.

You will own traffic and customer growth for GL Apparel. You'll be responsible for bringing customers into the funnel, keeping them engaged, and converting intent into purchase — at scale. You will lead, mentor, and grow a team of category marketers- set clear goals, unblock execution, and build capability over time. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable building a channel strategy and getting into the data to figure out why something isn't working.

What You'll Do
Traffic & Channel Ownership
• End-to-end traffic strategy for Apparel across paid and owned channels — Social, Search, Affiliates, Associates, and on-site merchandising
• Build and execute multi-channel marketing plans with a clear acquisition and conversion logic
• Work closely with central traffic teams as the category's advocate; influence channel investment and prioritization
• Continuously optimize channel performance through in-depth analysis and test-and-learn experiments
Customer Lifecycle & Engagement
• Develop strategies to acquire new-to-category and new-to-Amazon customers and move them through the purchase funnel
• Use data and customer insights to design campaigns that drive activation, repeat purchase, and long-term retention
• Lead high-impact event marketing (ARTs, Diwali, Republic Day) — from strategy to execution to post-event debrief
Creative & Merchandising
• Plan and execute high-visibility media and merchandising campaigns that resonate with fashion customers across demographics
• Own the category's style guidelines, merchandising calendar, and promotional framework
• Partner with brands on coop packages and creative briefs that are on-brand for Amazon Fashion

Planning & Partnerships
• Develop annual and quarterly marketing investment plans in partnership with Finance
• Build innovative internal and external partnerships to drive organic visibility
• Identify and reapply best practices from central teams and peer categories

• Proven ability to manage large-scale campaigns end-to-end with multiple stakeholders
• Sharp written communication — you can write a crisp campaign brief, a data-backed business review, and a compelling customer message
• Bias for action and ownership — you don't wait to be told what to do
• Experience working with paid media channels (Meta, Google, YouTube) and affiliate/associate programs is a plus
