BR OOC Discoverability and Merchandising, Out of Country - Cross border LatAm

Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. - C41 · Sao Paulo, Brazil · Buying/Planning

Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a results-oriented Merchandising & Deals Manager to drive deals adoption, merchandising strategy, and High-Velocity Events (HVE) execution for Brazil's Out-of-Country (OOC) channel. This role sits at the intersection of advertising, deals, and discoverability — owning the strategy to accelerate selection visibility and conversion for cross-border sellers in the Brazilian marketplace.

You will work cross-functionally across Category Merchant Managers, Marketing, Influencer teams, and GL leaders to build and scale deals penetration, ads adoption, and merchandising programs that drive incremental GMS growth. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast with data, and can influence without authority across multiple stakeholder groups.

Key job responsibilities
- Deals Strategy & Execution: Own the end-to-end deals roadmap for BR OOC FBA — define deal selection criteria, drive seller deal adoption (Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Coupons), and optimize deal performance across key events (Prime Day, Black Friday, HVEs)
- Ads Adoption: Partner with the Advertising team to increase sponsored products and brands adoption among IC FBA sellers, building playbooks and self-service mechanisms that scale
- HVE Planning & Coordination: Lead BR OOC participation in High-Velocity Events — from selection nomination and inventory readiness to promotional calendar alignment and post-event analysis
- Cross-GL Merchandising: Collaborate with Category Merchant Managers across GLs (Electronics, PC, Wireless, Home, etc.) to identify high-potential ASINs, curate collections, and drive featured placement
- Discoverability & Browse: Work with BR OOC Discoverability teams to improve search ranking, browse node placement, and storefront visibility for cross-border selection
- Marketing & Influencer Partnerships: Coordinate with Marketing and Influencer teams to amplify OOC selection through social channels, editorial content, and creator-driven campaigns

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing, or Bachelor's degree
- Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising
- Experience with different programmatic deal types
- Experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau, or experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions

Preferred qualifications

- MBA, or Advanced degree
- Experience in online advertising
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development and legal
- Experience in the regional retail and wholesale landscape with prior interactions with sellers and distributors, or experience in sales/business development
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
