About the role

The Portfolio Finance Partner is embedded within Operations Finance, owning end-to-end P&L partnership for our highest-visibility store portfolios including international locations, stores with losses, new stores, and new concepts. This role combines financial modeling and forecasting with strategic partnership; translating complex store-level data into actionable insights that shape leadership decisions. You'll support monthly and quarterly reviews, annual and quarterly guidance cycles, drive cluster analysis for new business questions as they arise, and contribute to automation and process improvement across the team.

Key job responsibilities
- Serve as embedded finance partner for Operations Business Support, providing financial analysis and decision support
- Key contributor to financial processes, supporting continuous improvement efforts
- Support annual operating plans, quarterly guidance, and monthly forecast cycles
- Support business review process (weekly, monthly, quarterly) ensuring accuracy of results, contribute to financial commentary, and provide corroborating details; identify risk, opportunity, and notable KPI variances
- Clearly communicate financial performance and key drivers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and bring creative problem solving to diverse and challenging issues
- Ensures data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools
- Serves as primary owner for multiple controls, ensuring timely completion of all requirements and documentation

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred qualifications

- 3+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
