About the role
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
We are seeking an experienced Specialist and Partner Funding Program Manager to work across teams to support AWS Specialist and Partner Funding Programs that contribute to the growth of ASP.
In the Partner GTM & Funding Program Manager role, you will develop a deep understanding of the AWS Partner Network to design, evolve, and launch scalable programs that support partners as well as the AWS field priorities. This role requires strong collaboration and relationship-building skills as you will be required to partner with Program, Operations, Sales / Partner Sales, Partner Management, and the Specialist Organization / Business Development to execute partner funding programs worldwide. An ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities and have the communication skills to be influential in aligning global teams in a fast-paced environment.
You will be the voice of AWS Specialist & Partner Funding Programs to the Field and partners and will enable internal teams and partners to adopt the program and share best practices across regions. You will build assets to meet the needs of your stakeholders to drive understanding of the program and adoption. You may host office hours, 1:1 meetings or support tickets / requests for the deal, or have 1:toMany sessions / workshops.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible from working backwards from the needs of the business (internal teams) and partners to recommend changes and develop programs that help partners build their AWS business or to-go-market with AWS. You will work with the APN Delivery team to build the end to end internal and external process for the program including automation to support scale. You will become an expert on partner funding processes, guidelines and options for internal business partners and APN partners. As an expert, you will share insights into what is working or not working, and provide process or system improvement enhancements for the next level of growth or increase in productivity. You will work with Geo Funding Teams to provide guidance on funding approvals for AWS partners that results in acquiring new customers, retaining and growing existing customers, and delivering growth in revenue on AWS services.
Manage the entire lifecycle of the programs and initiatives you are responsible for, including showing operational success and further iterations. You will continuously seek feedback from internal teams and partners to understand how the program is working or not working to meet their needs. You will work with the APN Funding Operations Manager to monitor partner utilization of funds as a steward of the funding budget for AWS. You will balance being able to meet the needs of partners and also sound financial management. You will analyze various areas of the business and track key performance measures. You will support ongoing business reviews / reporting to senior management using a data driven approach.

- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
- 5+ years of in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with different programmatic deal types

Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Telecommunications industry experience
- 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience

- Bachelor's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
