About the role
Amazon's Global Payroll Experience team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to help deliver world-class payroll experiences for Amazonians worldwide. In this role, you will drive projects that improve self-service capabilities, streamline payroll processes, and enhance employee experience across multiple countries and systems. You will work closely with payroll operations, HR, product, and technology teams to deliver initiatives that reduce employee effort and increase satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that sits at the intersection of payroll operations, content management, and customer experience — directly impacting how hundreds of thousands of employees interact with their pay information.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end, manage cross-level stakeholders, and report on progress and status.
- Partner with payroll operations, HR, product, and technology teams on shared initiatives.
- Create self-service content that improves the customer experience.
- Communicate project/metric status, risks, and decisions on system or process changes to stakeholders.
- Represent the Global Payroll Experience team in cross-level global forums.

A typical day includes standups, stakeholder and project meetings, and reporting — all within a continuous improvement environment.

The Global Payroll Experience team focuses on improving employee experience, data analysis, problem-solving, content creation, global project delivery, and process standardization.
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 4+ years of finance experience
- Knowledge of finance, accounting or related field focused on analytics
- Experience using data to influence business decisions

- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

- Knowledge of finance, accounting or related field focused on analytics
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
