About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the EU Process Engineering Network Experts Team (EUPE NET) in a full-time, onsite, non-shift rotation role with direct exposure to EU-level strategic initiatives. This senior position operates in a high-ambiguity environment where you will act as Subject Matter Expert for one or more EU CF process paths, covering direct, indirect processes and flow management. You will use your expertise to decompose complex operational challenges into simple, actionable solutions, design end-to-end standards in both planning and execution, and influence cross-functional stakeholders across countries and organizations to deliver cost savings and process excellence. The role requires strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to lead independently across diverse teams and functions.

The applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Logistics, Delivery and Shipping Sector. The position is classified at level Quadro or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Analyze network data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, compare site performance against network benchmarks, and convert insights into action plans presented to senior leadership (up to L10)
- Use data to identify long-term risks, make strategic trade-offs, and drive complex problem resolution
- Leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to provide granular insights and reduce cognitive workload for operations teams
- Lead high-impact Continuous Improvement initiatives (Kaizens/Kaikaku) autonomously
- Mentor and develop SSMEs in operational excellence and Lean methodologies
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance network efficiency and reduce costs through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead EU projects coordinating multiple sites, designing and implementing innovative solutions for network optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end standards and drive network-wide process improvements, communicating findings and recommendations at all levels
- Travel to Best-in-Class sites to capture best practices, approve new official standards, and provide on-site support

About the team
The EUCF PE team leads process stabilization, standardization, and continuous improvement across the EU Customer Fulfillment Network. They establish best-in-class performance standards, implement technological advancements, and enhance operational leaders' technical knowledge. The team equips operations with expertise to deliver technology and process improvements while reducing performance variation between shifts, buildings, and regions. Working collaboratively with Central Teams, they prioritize resources to improve process metrics across all paths.

EU PE is organized into two complementary teams: EUPE Execution, focused on site-level implementation, and EUPE NET, the dedicated network of process Subject Matter Experts.

Basic qualifications

- Experience managing teams, or experience in an operational role
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in logistics

Preferred qualifications

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing strategic initiatives

The minimum gross base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated.

Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements.

In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.
