About the role

Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including concrete admixtures and specialty products used throughout the construction industry.

MAPEI is seeking a strategic and results-driven Key Account Manager – Concrete Admixtures to develop partnerships with national concrete producers, suppliers, and construction companies. This position will promote MAPEI as a national admixture supplier and worldwide leader in concrete technology while supporting the sales organization in expanding market share.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute national account strategies that drive sales growth, strengthen customer partnerships, and expand MAPEI’s concrete admixtures market share.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders, purchasing decision-makers, technical stakeholders, consultants, and other influencers within key accounts.
  • Analyze national market potential, competitive activity, customer needs, and industry trends; prepare market studies, sales forecasts, and recommendations to support commercial strategy and budgeting.
  • Partner with regional sales, technical, R&D, marketing, operations, quality, and customer service teams to develop pricing, supply agreements, product positioning, project specifications, and customized customer solutions.
  • Support key projects from concept and design through tender and award, including efforts to have MAPEI admixture products incorporated into project specifications.
  • Coordinate and deliver product presentations, technical training, customer visits, and key-account events while representing MAPEI’s technical expertise, brand, and corporate vision.
  • Monitor account performance, forecast product demand, resolve significant customer concerns or warranty matters, and identify opportunities to improve internal sales, service, and delivery processes.
  • Represent MAPEI in national technical associations and industry events to strengthen relationships and promote the Company’s leadership in concrete technology.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures and instructions as defined in our Quality Management System (QMS), Employee Handbook, Health and Safety manual, or any other instruction issued by the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • In this role, you will earn a competitive annual base salary based between $145,000 - $175,000 depending on your experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of successful sales or key-account management experience involving commercial construction products; concrete admixtures or a closely related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the concrete industry, including concrete producers, construction projects, product specifications, market dynamics, and applicable industry standards.
  • Proven ability to develop national or strategic accounts, establish senior-level customer relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and achieve sales goals.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned market/industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work independently.
  • Proficient in Windows-based PC use, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet navigation.
