The Role

We are seeking a Coordinator to support the Kids & Teen Live-Action and Licensing teams, working across content partnerships, production pipelines, and cross-functional operations. In concert with managers and senior leadership, this position serves as a central point of coordination for licensing deals, live action development and production, and slate management — ensuring kids and teen content is successfully brought to the Netflix service and positioned for success.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, comfortable operating across both creative and business functions, and able to exercise good judgment and clear communication.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage deal setup and maintain the tracker for second-run licensing deals

• Prepare and send contract amendments to content partners for review and signature; execute finalized deals and communicate terms to relevant internal teams

• Lead cross-functional alignment for title launches across Rights, Operations, Ratings and Policy, Marketing, Finance, and Legal Delivery (Licensing and Live Action)

• Own title tracking, including launch scheduling and asset delivery; maintain the launch calendar and manage slate launch scheduling

• Conduct rights checks for special launches

• Onboard content partners into internal systems for Licensing and Live-Action deals

• Support internal newsletters by adding titles and completing title clearance for inclusion

• Read scripts and track notes; watch cuts and track feedback

• Log and upload pitch materials to internal tracking systems

• Manage deals, slate page setups, and content tracking for Live-Action titles

• Assign episode identifiers and draft greenlight memos

• Coordinate Writers Room, start of production, and launch gifting

• Maintain production tracker updates, including status grids, weekly read/watch logs, cuts status, and post-production schedules

• Coordinate key team meetings, including agenda-setting and follow-up notes

• Handle ad hoc content partner requests, including payment schedules, press releases, and title inquiries

• Update presentation materials and manage related budget/cost documentation for finance

• Track consumer product royalties; support book design approvals and YouTube research

• Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies across team workflows

Qualifications:

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across simultaneous workstreams

• Passion for kids and teen content across genres

• 3-5+ years of experience in content licensing, production coordination, or a related entertainment industry role

• Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a positive, team-player mindset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with teams including Legal, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Content

• Experience with deal and rights management

• Familiarity with production pipeline tools and workflows a plus

• Ability to be discreet and maintain highly confidential information

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office

 

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of hourly pay; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in hourly pay versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The hourly range for this role is $47.60 - $75.96.
