Sr. Consumer insights manager, XCM, XCM Insights

Amazon.com Services LLC · Seattle, WA · Marketing

Full-timeSenior

About the role

Come help decipher what customers really think about one of the world's most recognized brands. If you are familiar with brand health tracking and have experience supporting marketing campaigns, this role will interest you. You will measure how customers perceive the Amazon and Prime brand across multiple countries — from the US, UK, Germany, and Japan to growing marketplaces across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Our brand tracking program directly informs marketing strategy at the highest levels of the company.
As a Senior Consumer Insights Manager, you'll own the measurement infrastructure that tells Amazon's brand story in numbers. You'll drive strategy and execution across three high-impact areas:
At Amazon, a brand tracking program is a cross-functional marketing program — it's the measurement engine that global marketing teams build, execute, and scale together. If you've stood up or grown a research or insights program that marketing depends on, you've done exactly this work.
Scaling continuous brand tracking from 11 to 18+ countries in 2027 — migrating from snapshot surveys to always-on, daily measurement.
Turning data into decisions by uncovering insights that shape executive marketing strategy across Amazon's global mass advertising teams.
Building next-generation measurement alongside science and engineering teams investing in AI/ML-powered research tools like automated reporting and semantic search.
This is a role for someone who gets excited about connecting data to storytelling at global scale. You'll tackle questions like: Why is brand perception shifting in Germany but holding steady in Portugal? What are headwinds or tail winds across different regions?
You'll partner with vendors, engineering, data science, and marketing teams to build robust, trending data systems that executives rely on. Team members gain exposure to diverse consumer landscapes and cross-cultural research challenges at a scale few organizations can offer.

Key job responsibilities
Own the migration to continuous tracking: Lead the transition of our custom Pulse survey from snapshot tracking to continuous measurement — building the foundation for real-time brand intelligence.

Design and manage vendor partnerships: Develop work plans with external vendors and internal engineering teams to onboard data, ensure quality, and scale operations across new geographies.

Find the signal in the noise: Run statistical analysis on tracking results, identify meaningful differences, and surface the trends that matter most to the business.

Tell the brand story: Author initial drafts of insight reports and executive-ready narratives that translate complex data into clear, compelling recommendations for senior leadership.

Be the go-to for brand performance: Support ad-hoc requests from stakeholders across the organization who need fast, reliable answers about how the Amazon and Prime brands are performing.

Drive survey excellence: Manage end-to-end survey operations — from questionnaire design and vendor coordination to data validation — ensuring mechanisms provide robust, trending data for brand health measurement.

Build, execute, and scale a cross-functional program: Help launch and grow continuous tracking across new countries — a program built and run jointly with engineering, data science, vendors, and marketing. This is cross-functional program-building in its truest form.

Collaborate with engineering teams to manage powerful new dashboard for self-serving brand health data access.

You may be a great fit even if you don't come from a traditional marketing background. If you've built and scaled a research, insights, or measurement program that cross-functional teams rely on — coordinating vendors, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver at scale — that's the cross-functional program experience we're looking for.
