About the role

ROLE GOAL

1) Generate high-quality enterprise opportunities within a named set of North American (primarily US) strategic accounts.
2) Success is measured by opportunity quality and progression, not just volume of activity/meetings.

Location - Remote (5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST)

Role - Full-time

Core responsibilities

1) Outbound prospecting into named enterprise accounts via phone (heavy), email, LinkedIn.
2) Do account research and identify business triggers to personalize outreach with a credible “why now.”
3) Map and engage multiple stakeholders (CX/Customer Service, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Technology).
4) Run strong first calls with senior buyers: uncover pain, business impact, urgency, and next steps.
5) Handle objections and move conversations forward confidently.
6) Work leads from marketing/ABM campaigns, webinars, events and convert engagement into qualified opportunities.
7) Book well-qualified meetings for Business Development Executives and ensure a clean handoff:
- Strong CRM notes (context, stakeholders, needs, next step)
- Join initial call to support handover
8) Keep CRM hygiene high and share market feedback to improve targeting/messaging.
9) (US/Canada version) Support industry events and follow-up; travel as needed.

Must-have experience

1) 4+ years of quota-carrying outbound SDR/inside sales/new business prospecting.
- Inbound-only/customer service/consumer sales does not count.

2) 4+ years selling/prospecting into North America (US/Canada) and engaging senior stakeholders.

3) Preferably from BPO / CX outsourcing (strong preference), or similar complex services selling.

Skills / competencies

1) Excellent phone-first selling: establish relevance fast, ask sharp questions, objection handling, secure next steps.
- Will be assessed via live role-play; must think on feet.

2) Comfortable with complex B2B cycles (multiple stakeholders, longer buying process).

3) Commercial judgment & initiative: can independently research accounts, form a POV/hypothesis, craft messaging without heavy direction.

4) Strong English communication (clarity and credibility with senior buyers; accent not a concern).

Tools proficiency:

1) LinkedIn Sales Navigator + sales engagement tool (e.g., Salesloft) + CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot or similar).

2) Resilience/ownership: Persistent follow-up, adapts approach, and works the account through rejection.

3) Unanswered calls and emails are a given - find another way, create the meeting, and hit the numbers.

Proof of performance expected

Ability to clearly explain recent targets and results (last 2 quarters) including:

- meetings booked/held

  • opportunities created

- pipeline contribution (if tracked)
