About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Equipment Engineer to join our team in Taiwan. This role will provide technical leadership for automated test equipment (ATE) operations at our OSAT partners, driving excellence in test cell qualification and problem resolution.
Key job responsibilities
Lead and execute new test cell qualification and bring-up activities at OSAT partners
Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex issues at OSAT facilities
Drive resolution of sophisticated setup challenges involving thermal, electrical, and mechanical systems
Conduct comprehensive technical audits at OSAT partners to ensure compliance with quality standards
Develop and deliver technical training programs for new team members and OSAT partners
Review and approve test cell configurations for production release
Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize test cell performance and reliability
Lead continuous improvement initiatives for test cell efficiency and yield
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with
- Experience with ATE testers / ATC handlers
- Demonstrated expertise in complex problem solving across thermal, electrical, and mechanical domains
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience with semiconductor test and handling equipment
- Track record of leading technical teams or mentoring junior engineers
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin proficiency highly desired
- Experience working with OSAT partners in Asia

Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering- 5+ years of hands-on experience with
- Experience with ATE testers / ATC handlers
- Demonstrated expertise in complex problem solving across thermal, electrical, and mechanical domains
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge in electrical engineering at practical engineer level is a significant advantage- Experience with semiconductor test and handling equipment
- Track record of leading technical teams or mentoring junior engineers
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin proficiency highly desired
- Experience working with OSAT partners in Asia
