Senior Network Planning Manager, SC Topology and Inventory
Amazon Servicos de Varejo do Brasil Ltda. · Sao Paulo, Brazil · Supply Chain Management
Full-timeSenior
About the role
The Brazil Network Topology Planning team is seeking a talented Senior Network Planning Manager to lead the end-to-end development of Business Cases for network expansion across all node types — including Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Sortation Centers (SCs), Delivery Stations (DSs), and other logistics facilities — driving the Plan of Record (POR) and Building Requirements Specification (BRS) processes in close partnership with Global Engineering Services (GES), Real Estate, and cross-functional stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for building and refining Business Cases that define the strategic rationale, financial viability, and operational requirements for new and existing nodes across Brazil's logistics network. You will lead the POR and BRS lifecycle — from early-stage site selection and capacity scoping through engineering design alignment and executive approval — coordinating with numerous stakeholders including Engineering, Real Estate, Finance, Operations, Design Engineers, PMO, and Technology teams.
This is a high-visibility, cross-functional leadership role that requires you to navigate complex trade-offs across cost, capacity, customer experience, and timeline objectives. You will synthesize inputs from multiple teams to develop network topology solutions that optimize multi-year, multi-echelon supply chain design while ensuring that capacity creation plans are executable, well-documented, and aligned with Brazil's long-term logistics network strategy.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the development and iteration of Business Cases for network expansion projects across all node types (FCs, SCs, DSs, and other logistics facilities), incorporating financial modeling, volume forecasting, topology design, and operational requirements
Own and drive the POR and BRS processes end-to-end, ensuring alignment across GES, Real Estate, Design Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams
Coordinate with numerous cross-functional stakeholders to jointly define requirements, validate assumptions, and manage project timelines from concept through approval
Work closely with Global Engineering Services and Real Estate to translate topology decisions into actionable engineering and site selection specifications
Manage regular communication with senior leadership on project status, risks, opportunities, and change control
Drive long-term strategic initiatives and best practices adoption for Brazil's logistics network planning
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience in supply chain
- Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.
- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma analytical techniques
- Experience leading process improvements
