About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Overview of the Role:

This is a high-impact opportunity to lead two of Salesforce's most strategic recruiting programs, with a primary focus on the APAC and Japan regions. The Employee Referral Program is Salesforce's #1 source of external hires, and the Insiders Program connects active candidates with employees for an authentic look at our culture.

As the Senior Program Manager for these two programs, you'll run day-to-day operations and support regional strategy across APAC and Japan. You'll partner closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to tailor these programs to local market needs, while improving the experience for referrers, candidates, and Insiders alike.

You'll have the autonomy to shape how these two programs work across APAC and Japan, direct visibility with regional business leaders, and the chance to build improvements that benefit our global talent organization.

Responsibilities:

Employee Referral Program

  • Champion the Employee Referral Program across APAC and Japan by designing education initiatives and promotional campaigns that grow high-quality referral pipelines in priority business areas, partnering with regional Talent Attraction, Legal, and Business leaders to align local execution with global hiring strategy.
  • Manage program branding and communications across Slack, Quip, and email, and handle case intake and resolution for referral inquiries.
  • Present at new hire orientations, train team members on program operations, and monitor program data to guide promotional strategies and audit service-level agreement (SLA) compliance.
  • Oversee the referral bonus payout lifecycle, auditing transactions for accurate payouts and alignment with Payroll SLAs.

Insiders Program

  • Own end-to-end operational workflows and intake systems for the Insiders Program, establishing escalation protocols and resolution standards to deliver a strong, candidate-centered experience.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train employee Insiders, building enablement resources that help employees represent Salesforce culture authentically.
  • Design and run multi-channel communication campaigns across Slack, email, and internal portals to drive Insider engagement and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Build reporting frameworks to track participation, match quality, and candidate sentiment, and use that data to guide process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of program management experience in HR, recruiting operations, or talent acquisition, including leading strategic, scalable talent programs.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Japanese to support APAC/Japan stakeholders and local teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional workstreams, managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, including designing and executing multi-channel communication strategies for global, regional, and executive audiences.
  • Experience building performance metrics frameworks and using data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau) to inform program decisions, and proficiency with collaboration tools (Google Workspace, MS Office, Quip, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach focused on continuous process improvement, operational excellence, and delivering a strong candidate and employee experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional partners and senior leadership without direct authority.
  • Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, balancing competing high-impact priorities effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting platforms (e.g., Workday) or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
