About the role
Commercial Carriers Manager in Brazil plays a crucial role in exceeding customer expectations during transportation. This multi-faceted position requires balancing tactical activities with strategic planning for transportation execution with 3P carriers. The role manages operations impacting quality (DEA - Delivery Estimate Accuracy), speed (C2P - Click to Promise), cost (CPP - Cost Per Package), and losses (DNR - Delivery Not Received and Returns). This includes managing relationships with 3rd party transportation providers, driving tactical actions to balance Service Level Agreements with Operational Costs, and overseeing all aspects of 3P carrier operations, including capacity planning, continuous improvement, coverage expansion, peak readiness, and delivery speed definition.
Key job responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with 3P carriers and internal stakeholders
• Lead the end-to-end launch and ramp-up plan for new carriers in the operation, including due diligence, systems integration, pilot execution, volume ramp, and steady-state transition
• Define and monitor ramp-up milestones, SLAs, and go/no-go criteria for new carrier launches
• Analyze network losses and implement improvement plans
• Coordinate package return processes for Fulfillment Centers and Sellers
• Track and report on key performance metrics
• Identify and implement network efficiency improvements
• Create and maintain performance dashboards using SQL and other analytical tools
• Develop regular reporting cycles to track carrier performance and network health
• Document and standardize processes for better team alignment
• Identify trends and opportunities for optimization through data analysis
• Work closely with Carrier Managers to implement improvement initiatives
• Partner with Network Losses and S&OP teams to align on objectives
• Contribute to process innovation to enhance operational efficiency
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in project and program management
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders

Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience in project and program management
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English at C1 level or above
Preferred qualifications
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
