About the role

Prime Video is looking for a highly analytical and entrepreneurial EU Content Acquisition Portfolio Manager to join the Spanish Content Acquisition team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role at the intersection of content planning, business development, and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Head of Content for South of Europe, the EU Content Acquisition Portfolio Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the content acquisition strategy across Prime Video International, working to help secure the best content for our customers through collaborations with leading local and international content providers.

The ideal candidate is a structured analytical thinker with a bias for action, able to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments and deliver results in a fast-moving, ambiguous landscape. You will operate at the intersection of creative vision and commercial rigor, balancing customer obsession with financial discipline.

Key job responsibilities
Work with Business Strategy to help identify key international content trends from the demand point of view, at customer segment level, to create transversal programs that inform local content acquisition plans.
Support the development of innovative business models with top licensors that create win-win opportunities and position Prime Video as the preferred partner for premium content providers, both locally and internationally.

Support the redesign and help to adapt the global content acquisition playbook to regional clusters, taking into account local market particularities, regulatory frameworks, competitive dynamics, and customer preferences across territories.

Identify, codify, and scale best practices across Prime Video internationally, contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement across regions.

Partner closely with Finance and Business Strategy teams to support content portfolio investments, ensuring data-driven allocation of resources and maximizing return on content spend.

Develop mechanisms, processes, and frameworks that increase operational efficiencies and foster cross-regional collaboration, leveraging Prime Video's international scale to unlock synergies.

Produce data-backed analyses and recommendations to inform content investment decisions, deal structures, and key priorities for the leadership team.

Basic qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a quantitative field (engineering, economics, math, and statistics), business or equivalent
- Experience in business development, account management, product management, project management, financial analysis and/or marketing
- Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record
- Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience in finance role where you owned financial reporting for a business area
- Experience using complex financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to inform business decisions and influence cross-functional stakeholders, with proven business impact (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits), or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field

Preferred qualifications

- Experience working at a TV Network, broadcaster, or an online streaming platform, specializing in digital video delivery or streaming media technologies
- Knowledge of internet, software, and media industries and the legal and regulatory environment in which they operate or equivalent
- Experience developing operational processes and data insights
- Speak, write, and read fluently in French, Spanish, German or Italian
