About the role
Amazon is building internal manufacturing resources to scale rapid concept through deployment of strategic hardware initiatives. We are seeking a customer-obsessed Program Manager with demonstrated experience in shepherding the development, manufacturing, and deployment of industrial products across various stages of maturity. You will be the key point of contact between internal product teams developing innovations and our prototyping teams orchestrating on requests. You are a force multiplier, methodical, and detail oriented. To successfully deliver products, you will collaborate directly with customers, their stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors. You have an eye for detail, continuously improving our standard processes to drive efficiency and enhance our customer experience. An ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, forever learner, intently understanding new technical environments, customer needs, and challenges. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and drive an execution plan amid changing priorities.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 3+ years of program or project management experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience in analysing data and creating reports for leadership
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives
- Can show strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience navigating a knowledge base and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to drive process and system improvements
- Experience managing competing priorities and using metrics to drive business decisions
- • 3+ years in hardware product development, manufacturing, or industrial products, with 2+ years directly supporting enterprise customer needs
- • Experience using AI to improve reporting and workflows.
- • Track record delivering cross functional projects across multiple organizations, communicating tradeoffs and influencing without authority
- • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes relevant to prototyping and production
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and collaboration tools such as Asana and Slack
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD experience and understanding of best practices for part design, and advanced assemblies
- • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or relevant technical fields
- • 3+ years experience in hardware development and manufacturing, including driving relationships with job shops and contract manufacturers
- • 3+ years direct experience in manufacturing environment for mechanical products with exposure to CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, molding, and assembly operations
- • Prior experience working with MES, PDM, PLM, CRM, and ERP tools

Basic qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
