Then you may be interested in joining our Amazon Web Services (AWS) National Security team as a Principal Account Executive.
In this role, you will serve as the primary commercial relationship owner for key national security accounts. You will drive cloud adoption strategy, develop and execute account plans, manage complex procurement cycles, and build trusted advisor relationships with senior government stakeholders. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge cloud technology and Australia's most critical national security missions.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for national security customers to drive AWS cloud adoption and revenue growth
- Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior government stakeholders
- Partner with Solutions Architecture and specialist teams to design and deliver cloud solutions for mission-critical environments
- Navigate complex government procurement processes and manage multi-year deal cycles
- Collaborate with AWS Professional Services to implement solutions and packaged offerings
- Represent AWS at industry events and senior government forums
- Drive pipeline generation and forecast accuracy across your account portfolio
- Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with government or large enterprise customers
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
- MBA, or Advanced degree
- Experience working with national security, defence, or intelligence community customers
- Knowledge of government procurement frameworks such as WoAG, panels, and standing offers
- Experience as a practice leader or business unit owner in a technology company

Basic qualifications
- 7+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience- Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with government or large enterprise customers
- Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with AWS or cloud technologies- MBA, or Advanced degree
- Experience working with national security, defence, or intelligence community customers
- Knowledge of government procurement frameworks such as WoAG, panels, and standing offers
- Experience as a practice leader or business unit owner in a technology company
