Amazon's Global AI & Analytics (GSARC) Strategy team is seeking a Business Analyst to power the ramp-up of critical strategic projects and AI automation with data. In this role, you will analyze operations data, build models and reporting that inform how Amazon designs and optimizes its fulfillment network, and support the analytics behind AI solutions for AI-Native Operations.
You will turn ambiguous questions into structured analysis, translating large, messy datasets into clear insights that leaders act on. Operating with defined-scope autonomy and guidance from senior team members, you will gather stakeholder requirements, build and maintain automated reporting, and surface the trends and bottlenecks that shape tactical and strategic decisions across WW Operations for speed, cost, and profitability.

- Build, automate, and maintain the reporting and dashboards behind the business cadence (daily/weekly/monthly business reviews) for your area of responsibility
- Develop analyses and data-backed recommendations that inform action plans for general managers, directors, and VPs
- Support annual and ad-hoc planning cycles with data pulls, models, and scenario analysis
- Contribute to internal team program/project delivery by owning the analytical and reporting components
- Measure and report the effectiveness of developed solutions, defining and tracking the right metrics
- Partner with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver analyses that support AI solution development
- Identify data-quality issues and anomalies, surfacing bottlenecks and trends early
- Write clear, accurate documentation and communicate findings in a concise, professional manner
- Remain flexible to changing priorities and open to new approaches and tools
- Support goals and performance reporting with accurate, timely data
- Experience writing complex Excel VBA macros
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Advanced experience with Excel VBA macros
- Experience using very large datasets

Basic qualifications
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field- Experience writing complex Excel VBA macros
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
- Advanced experience with Excel VBA macros
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with Tableau- Experience using very large datasets
