Lifecycle Marketing Manager, AU/SG PLX
Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Marketing
Full-timeLead
About the role
We're seeking an analytical, innovative, and data-driven marketing professional to spearhead our customer engagement initiatives at Amazon Australia.
As a key member of our AU Customer Lifecycle Marketing Team, you'll develop and deliver engagement programs that delight our customers and deepen their relationship with Amazon. You'll design, test, and scale engagement strategies across Amazon's digital landscape — including our homepage, cross-site placements, email, push notifications, and custom landing pages — to increase customer adoption of key shopping benefits.
In this role, you will:
- Lead with data: Dive deep into customer data using SQL, analytics dashboards, and other analytical tools to uncover actionable insights that inform campaign strategy and team decision-making. You'll be the person who proactively explores data to find the "why" behind customer behavior — not just report on it.
- Embrace AI and emerging tools: Leverage generative AI and other emerging technologies to accelerate analysis, generate insights, and optimize marketing workflows. Curiosity about what's possible with new tools is a must.
- Drive international collaboration and program management: Partner closely with international teams — especially other emerging marketplaces — to coordinate new product rollouts and launches for AU customers.
- Share and scale: Identify and adopt best practices from global and emerging-marketplace peers, share insights with senior leadership, and cross-share learnings to drive impact beyond AU.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excelling at managing multiple high-priority projects with tight deadlines. You are naturally curious, thrive in ambiguity, and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done. Your talent for transforming complex, data-rich challenges into effective solutions will be crucial in this role. You possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver outstanding results with minimal guidance.
Key job responsibilities
- Proactively analyse customer data using SQL, dashboards, and analytical tools to gain deep customer behavior insights, identify at-risk segments, surface opportunities, and develop targeted marketing campaigns
- Explore and leverage AI tools (including generative AI) to streamline data analysis, generate insights, and enhance campaign performance
- Distil data findings into clear, actionable insights and share them with the broader team and senior leadership to inform strategic decisions
- Plan, design, and execute cross-channel marketing initiatives that drive customer cohort progression, engagement, adoption of new shopping behaviors, and repeat purchasing
- Support experimental testing and contribute to test-and-learn initiatives to uncover key insights and inform future campaigns
- Develop segmentation models for retargeting key segments with lifecycle offers and messaging
- Build and manage campaigns that drive high-value actions (HVA) and repeat purchases; report on individual campaign results and bigger-picture trends
- Collaborate with international teams — especially emerging marketplaces — to coordinate new product rollouts and launches, managing the program end-to-end from global stakeholder alignment through to local AU execution
- Document best practices in execution and reporting that will serve as a model for partner teams
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans
